| The delightful Northumbrian village of Rothbury is where you will find April Cottage. This lovely four star self-catering holiday cottage lies in the heart of a splendidly served village, which has all the amenities you require for a relaxing and stimulating holiday.

This charming and very welcoming cottage is newly renovated, and equipped to a very high standard throughout. You have everything you need for a great holiday, including a lovely beamed living and dining room with lots of character and a feature fireplace.

There is a TV with a DVD and CD player if you just want to relax after a busy day. Also on the ground floor is the fully fitted kitchen, which is equipped with a cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge and a washing machine with a drying facility.

The charming and very characterful, beamed ceilings continue upstairs in the two double bedrooms, and the bathroom has both a shower and a bath, which is ideal for children.

|
A cot is available should you require it, and the cottage has its own private allocated parking space. While guide dogs are welcome in April Cottage, other pets are prohibited, as is smoking.

The cottage is situated just a hundred yards from the village high street, so it's very convenient for shopping and exploring.
|
|
April Cottage is the ideal location to visit the Northumberland National Park, as well as the World Heritage site coast line, Lindisfarne, Alnwick Castle where Harry Potter was filmed, Berwick-upon-Tweed, and of course Edinburgh and Newcastle for lively entertainment and shopping.

Naturally there are many country sports and outdoor activities to take part in while you are staying in April Cottage.

Choose from golf, trout and salmon fishing on the Tweed, sea angling, diving at Eyemouth, quad bikes, cycling, walking, rambling, bird and seal watching on the Farne Islands, or just relax and enjoy the wonderful views.
