Situated at the gateway to the Northumberland National Park, in the beautiful hamlet of Hepple, on the banks of the River Coquet, Cherry Tree Cottage is the perfect destination for anyone seeking luxurious holiday accommodation with stunning views across the Coquetdale Valley.
Only 3 miles from the village of Thropton, and a further 2 from the beautiful market town of Rothbury, Cherry Tree Cottage is a perfect base from which explore the surrounding area, with nearby attractions such as the popular Cragside estate, award winning local beaches, and the castles of Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh and Alnwick (which was the location for Harry Potter's Hogwarts Academy).
Cherry Tree Cottage is a delightful 19th century stone built cottage, which has been lovingly converted from a farm steading to make it a wonderfully tranquil location for a family holiday. The cottage has two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom and sleeps 6 people comfortably.
Downstairs, with its stone-flagged and waxed timber flooring, you will find an open plan dining lounge and a luxurious kitchen with granite work surfaces, with a dishwasher, double oven & grill, 5 ring gas hob, fridge and freezer.
The cottage has sturdy timber double glazed windows, gas fired central heating with combination boiler for instant hot water, and a multi-fuel stove and stone inglenook fireplace (with fuel provided).
To make your stay even more enjoyable, there is a TV & DVD player with a selection of DVDs & Sky, CD player, and a good selection of books, magazines and toys, maps and information about the area.
An ideal setting for lunch, is the East facing main garden or the West facing rear garden which is ideal for catching the late afternoon sun. There is garden furniture supplied and BBQ.
There is also safe off street parking for up to 3 cars.
