With the stunning panoramic backdrop of the Cheviot Hills and the Upper Coquet Valley all around it, Fellside Cottage is a sublime self-catering location from which to discover the beauty and charm of this wonderful county.
Fellside Cottage is an utterly charming place to stay, and is well appointed with everything you require for a fantastically relaxing self-catering holiday. Situated in a very tranquil location, the cottage is an ideal hideaway from the demands of modern life. Holiday time is precious, especially with family and friends, and Fellside is ideal for fun filled family holidays or friends staying together.
This delightful cottage comfortably sleeps two to five guests with a double and a single bedroom, plus a sofa bed, and also has a cot available for babies and toddlers. The single level accommodation is great for children and those with less mobility. The cottage is semi detached, but very private and well maintained. It has double-glazing and central heating, and is available throughout the year.
The living room is furnished with comfortable sofas, and one pulls out to make a sofa bed. There is an open fire, which is lovely to warm your toes in front of in the evening and mull over the days events. The furnishings include a flat screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD and video player, plus a library of films. There is even a music centre with some CD's, books, and maps of the local area to help you orientate yourself during your stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer and drying room, and a dishwasher. All the utensils, crockery and cutlery you need to make snack and meals is included in the kitchen, plus a Coquetdale cook book. There are even thermos flasks and food boxes for days out.
The dining room is grandly furnished, and has delightful views of the area and the local wildlife in the garden. Outside the garden is well kept with lawns, a patio, sun loungers, and a barbeque area. There is space for bikes in the drying shed, and horses can be accommodated by arrangement. Bike hire and grocery delivery are also offered.
