Lambley Farm Holiday Cottages are an ideal choice for your self catering holiday in the beautiful setting of Northumberland. The cottages are located on the Lambley Country Estate, situated near Haltwistle on the southern fringe of Northumberland National Park. The cottages are beautifully positioned allowing you to enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. Due to the fantastic location of the holiday cottages, you are also provided with an opportunity to visit the Lake District in Cumbria, just remember to bring those wellies and raincoats!
If your holiday permits you, you can also take advantage of the estates fishing rights to the finest salmon river in Northumberland which offers you the opportunity to catch salmon, sea and freshwater trout.
The holiday cottages have recently been converted to a high standard of quality accommodation from a cluster of farm barns. They have been finished with superior furnishings, oak flooring and are well equipped with oil-fired central heating and many more appliances required for contemporary living.
If the weather has treated you badly during your holiday, or you'd simply like to relax and treat yourself to some of life's little luxuries, Lambley Farms has the perfect remedy. A beautiful modern spa and sauna area is available for guest to relax in, and while you are having a quiet afternoon, the kids can play football or make use of the pool table, or even play on the Playstation, keeping them entertained while you're having time out.
Each of the holiday cottages have been awarded 4 stars by the English Tourism Council.
The Couch House sleeps 8, perfect for extended families or a small group of people.
Shalom sleeps 5, an ideal luxury cottage for a family with 3 children.
The Pigeonaire can accommodate 4 adults, has a magnificent 4 poster bed and has en-suite shower rooms.
Similar to The Pigeonaire, Riverside Cottage is suitable for a family of four or 2 couples and also has en-suite shower rooms.
Kingfisher Cottage is a 17th Century fortified farm house, perfect for a romantic getaway for 2, with the flexibility to provide an extra bed if required.
Ghillies Cottage includes a romantic four poster bed, and sleeps up to 3 people. With accommodation on one level, this cottage if often ideal for elderly guests.
