Located in the charming village of Gunnerton, near the historic and picturesque market town of Hexham, The Stables provides excellent self-catering accommodation, for long relaxing weekends, and fun filled holidays.
This characterful, yet newly built stone cottage has plenty of traditional style, with every modern convenience, and is perfectly placed for discovering and exploring Northumberland, Hexham, Hadrian's Wall, and Newcastle.
The cottage is very easy to get to from anywhere in the country and further afield, as it is situated just nine miles from Hexham and its amenities, and just twenty miles from Newcastle Airport, which has both domestic and international departures.
The Stables is exceedingly well appointed and sleeps four guests in great comfort. This detached property has its own off-street parking, patio, and garden outside; while inside the accommodation consists of a twin bedroom, a double bedroom, a sun lounge, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
The sun lounge is bright and spacious with stunning views, and comes with a TV, DVD, and a CD player. The dine-in kitchen is fully equipped with everything you require to make snacks or dinners. You even get a welcome hamper of essentials to get you started, which includes: butter, milk, eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, and bread.
Chilly nights can be warded off with the central heating, and the log burner, for relaxing nights in. The bathroom has a large shower, but does not include a bath, and there is no washing machine in the cottage, though washing facilities can be arranged. Naturally all towels, linen and bedding are provided for your stay. The cottage is non-smoking, and does not accept pets.
