Set amid the stunning Northumberland countryside overlooking the Coquet Valley and Brinkburn Priory, Woodhead Cottages are a fabulous five star location for a holiday in this very attractive and historic region.
The tranquillity of this enviable position between the Cheviot Hills and the World Heritage coastline is part of what makes Woodhead Cottages so delightfully luxurious, coupled with the stunning interiors, and the remarkable attention to detail, that makes guests feel really welcomed and at home.
Choose from either Woodcock House, which sleeps six, or Tawny Nook Cottage, which sleeps four, and you will be surrounded by luxury. Each cottage is beautifully presented with everything you need for a sumptuous and relaxing holiday.
Both cottages have been designed with a bright and airy feel, which is traditional with lots of modern conveniences. Private off street parking is provided, as is a welcome hamper of delicious breakfast goodies, including mouth-watering home made marmalade and free-range eggs. Naturally all linen, bedding and towels are provided for you in both cottages, and both have enclosed gardens with furniture and a barbeque.
After a busy day of exploration and discovery you can mull over the days events in front of an open fire in the elegant sitting room of either cottage, which is furnished to a very high standard with comfortable leather sofas and a TV. The kitchens in both cottages are fully fitted to a high standard and include a microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer.
The bedrooms of the cottages are spacious, light and airy, with beautiful period furniture and antiques, which are complimented by the gloriously tasteful and romantic bed linen. Woodcock House has the added luxury of a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and a family bathroom with a superb roll top bath.
